With October almost over, we are at the end of our third quarter and gearing up for the fourth quarter and the start of the new year. So what were we up to in the last quarter?
First off, we added a brand new job board to our website. Now you can see all of our postings in one convenient place! Just go to pharmaceuticalstrategies.com/jobs-new and you can browse based on the category, location, or keywords! The best part is that when you search by keyword, it not only pulls up jobs with that word in the title but also jobs that have the word or words in the job posting. So if you’re looking for a data entry position, it will pull up all the customer service representatives, pharmacy technicians, and administrative assistants as well as any data entry technicians. We wanted our candidates to be able to search all of our jobs in one easy place, and apply easily and effortlessly. You simply need to click the position you are interested in, fill in some quick contact information, attach your resume and answer a couple experience based questions, and you’re done!
Just a couple weeks ago, we sent Wes, Andy, and Adrianna, to the AHCA NCAL 69th Annual Convention and Expo. When we first opened our doors in 2004 we were focused on Pharmacy, and a lot of our major clients, who still remain today, were in the Long Term Care sector of pharmacy. This convention not only allowed us to network with new candidates and clients but also to meet some of our long-time clients. Since we are headquartered in Boston and work in all 50 states, it can be difficult to meet with all of our clients and the hiring managers that we work with. Our business development and account managers are skilled at creating relationships with hiring managers through various forms of technology, but conventions and conferences much like this one truly help us build upon those relationships. On top of networking, this conference really allowed us to learn more about what our clients and candidates working in long term care are looking for in terms of their jobs and employees.
Last but not least, we made our biggest announcement yet and we sent our Business Development Manager to Chicago to better service our Midwest market. From new candidates to new clients, we wanted to use this opportunity to better support our wide range of clients and candidates. We’ve been based around Boston, MA since the beginning, and we’ve always staffed healthcare and pharmacy companies across the country, in all fifty states and Puerto Rico. Adding a new location will help our services reach farther than ever before. You can read my interview with Adrianna, here, detailing why she was moving to Chicago, what she was excited about, and her plans for the upcoming year. We have a lot of big plans for Chicago, so stay tuned on our blog and website, as well as all of our social media for updates.
