Job Duties
What You'll Do:
This position works under clinical supervision and requires considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and program techniques & is a member of a sex offender team.
* As a member of a sex offender team, is responsible for sex offender interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders
* Completes screenings and assessments
* Conducts group & sex offender interventions as prescribed on the individual in-program assessment using evidence based correctional program intervention strategies within their scope of practice and as directed by supervision
* Writes reports and maintains necessary data documents to satisfy requirements of federal, state and local agencies
* Enters documentation in electronic health record of all inmate encounters and contacts
* Completes miscellaneous forms and reports as needed per policy and protocol
* Completes transfer and discharge summaries
* Consults with other institution staff regarding the sex offender caseload, inmate's institutional adjustment and service needs
* Attends meetings of sex offender program supervision
* Attends in-service training and workshops for professional development
