Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship (SLP CF)--BHDDH
Qualifications * Must have Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an institute accredited by ASHA * Valid (Temp) RI SLP license required
Duties & Responsibilities * Provide skilled, medically necessary speech and language therapy assessments and develop and implement individualized treatment plans to increase clients independence and functioning. * Provide SLP services in LTAC-level and long-term care in medical and psychiatric settings across 2 campuses (Cranston & Burriville, RI). * Coordinate and collaborate with other professionals for on-site diagnostic swallowing procedures (MBSS, FEES) as ordered by a physician * Provide training and education to clients, family, caregivers, and other professionals * Communicate changes in the patient's condition with multidisciplinary team members * Provide accurate and timely supporting clinical documentation * Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements * Direct supervision will be provided on and off-site monthly by a licensed Clinical Speech mentor as required by ASHA
